Email Verification Overview
The email verification extension enables email address verification for users by sending account activation links. To activate this extension, access the Global Settings and navigate to User Accounts, then enable the "Send Verification Email" option from the menu. After a user successfully submits a registration form, they will receive an email containing an account verification link. Clicking this link will activate their account. You can specify the duration (in hours) during which the account verification email link remains valid. The account activation notice presents a message displayed upon successful account activation via the verification link. This message also applies to invalid activation codes. The link expiry notice appears when a user clicks on an expired account verification email link. Additionally, you have the option to customize the login error message. Enabling the "Provisionally activate account" feature allows users who haven't verified their emails to log in temporarily.
